LGD Gaming announced on Weibo that ex-Unlimited Potential mid laner Li "Punished" Yuanhui will start for the team in the LPL's upcoming summer season while Wei "We1less" Zhen while We1less recovers from a hand injury.

On June 15, 2015, We1less commented on Weibo that a recent hand injury could keep him from starting in matches in the future. According to LGD Gaming, this injury persisted intermittently, and, due to sustained and continued play, he will now have to take time off to recover.

In the meantime, ex-Unlimited Potential mid laner Punished will start for LGD Gaming. Punished previously played with the team's jungler Xie "Eimy" Dan and coach Lee "Heart" Gwanhyung on Unlimited Potential in the 2015 LPL Summer Season. Though his Twisted Fate was often banned, he didn't overly impress viewers. Unlimited Potential were relegated at the end of the split.

According to LGD, the substitution is only temporary while We1less recovers, and he will return to the starting position as soon as his health improves.
