Mid laner Peng "Peng" Yibo and Pi "Xuan" Xiaoxuan have returned to Vici Gaming, according to the team's Weibo.
In 2015, Vici Gaming rotated through many rookie talents in the mid lane and AD carry position. Their roster with Peng and Xuan showed the most promise. After VG's loss to LGD Gaming in the LPL Summer Playoffs, however, both Peng and Xuan were transferred to Unlimited Potential in the League of Legends Secondary Pro League.
UP were relegated from the LSPL this summer, and Vici Gaming CEO Lu "HunTeR" Wenjun said in an interview that he finds it difficult to motivate former LPL players to play in the LSPL. He also said that, even if UP had remained in the LSPL, he had plans to sell the team and transfer UP's players to Vici Gaming to potentially rotate into the main lineup.
Vici Gaming have announced than Xuan and Peng have rejoined the main team. It has not been announced whether these players will start or rotate with current mid laner Lee "Easyhoon" Jihoon and AD carry Xu "Endless" Hao. The announcement also confirmed that Unlimited Potential jungler, Chen "World6" Yutian, has transferred to Oh My God.
