When the star-studded rebuild of H2k-Gaming was unveiled before the 2016 EU LCS Spring Split, many predicted them not only as a European powerhouse, but as a title contender. However, the wheels feel off the H2K hype train in the semifinals of the playoffs, and the squad would end up finishing fourth overall after disappointing losses at the hands of Origen and Fnatic.

Now, with a new AD carry bolstering their ranks, H2K stands ready to make a run for the prize once again. theScore esports' Marcel "Dexter" Feldkamp sat down with jungler Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski just days before the start of the 2016 EU LCS Summer Split to discuss what went wrong during the playoff collapse, how Aleš "Freeze" Kněžínek is meshing with the team as well as how the recent meta and roster changes will affect the upcoming split.
