Konstantinos “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou is being removed from Origen's starting roster, and Enrique “xPeke” Cedeño will take his place as AD carry, the team announced Tuesday.
In a release, Origen cited FORG1VEN’s lack of motivation for the move.
“We expect FORG1VEN to find the necessary motivation to regain his passion for the game as soon as possible,” the statement read.
xPeke will play as AD carry for the team "until we find a suitable replacement ADC," the organization went on to state.
His move to Origen came as part of a major shuffling of EU bottom-lanes for the summer split. He opted into joining former G2 support Glenn "Hybrid" Doornebal instead of skipping the summer split, which he had previously suggested he may do in order to refocus for the 2017 season.
The venerable European AD carry has long been seen as one of the most mechanically-gifted domestic talents to play the role, but his attitude has lead many teams to struggle to integrate him successfully into their rosters. Despite his individual talent, FORG1VEN has never won an EU LCS title or participated in Worlds.
He was a major part of SK Gaming's initial dominance in the 2015 spring split, but moved to Gambit Gaming for the summer after failing to clinch the season and finishing a disappointing fourth. His time on Gambit was even less productive, and he ended the 2015 split on a low note, helping his team to narrowly avoid relegation (though the spot would be later acquired by Team Vitality).
Currently, OG is tied with Giants Gaming for ninth place in the EU LCS with two losses each, after struggling to find results in the first week of the split.
They are scheduled to face Team Vitality on June 9.
