Ex-Royal Club Huang Zu mid laner and Season 3 World Championship semifinalist, Pun Wai "Wh1t3zZ" Lo, has purchased I May, according to his weibo. I May re-posted his announcement, confirming it.

In the post, Wh1t3zZ reflected on his career and remarked that he has finally returned to the League of Legends Pro League. He did not disclose the amount for which he purchased the team, but he joked that he sold his Maserati to afford it.

I May have surprised spectators this split after qualifying for the LPL from the LSPL as EDward Gaming's sister team. They placed third in Group B, considered the more competitive group by a considerable margin, and have advanced past Invictus Gaming to face Snake eSports on Friday in the quarterfinals. If they place Top 3 in the Summer Playoffs, they at least qualify for the Chinese Regional to attempt to play for a World Championship spot.

Wh1t3zZ himself accumulated a lot of competitive experience in the Chinese scene before retiring at the end of 2013. He notably played for Invictus Gaming, previously Catastrophic Cruel Memory, Oh My God and Royal Club Huang Zu. When he played for Royal in 2013, Wh1t3zZ was part of a roster, along with Jian "Uzi" Zihao, that finished second at the World Championship, losing 3-0 to SK Telecom T1 in the final. Wh1t3zZ has since been known as a humorous, popular streamer and personality.
