The groups for the regional finals of FACEIT and ELEAGUE's $300,000 Overwatch Open have been announced, and it turns out there won't be any Atlantic Showdown rematches before the bracket stage.

The North American Regional Finals, set to take place from Sep. 25-26, features three NA teams returning from the Atlantic Showdown. Despite their performance at that event, Team EnVyUs look to be the Group A favorite, while Cloud9 and Fnatic will square off against the newly acquired Method and Immortals rosters in Group B. A potential bout between C9 and FNC, which didn't happen at Gamescom, could prove explosive.

Europe's regional finals will run from Sep. 28-29, and the group results here are difficult to predict. In Group A, titans REUNITED will face down Team Dignitas and the newly resurgent FaZe Clan roster. Even Ninjas in Pyjamas has the potential to surprise the other teams in this group.

Given Nicolas "SkipJack" Rosada has had to step back from Misfits for the event, it's tempting to favor Atlantic Showdown champs Rogue to win Group B. But Misfits have had ample time to consider their options and adjust since Gamescom, so they shouldn't be counted out.

After the conclusion of both regional finals, the Grand Finals will be held at Turner Studios in Atlanta on Sep. 30. TBS will host a live broadcast.
