Albus Nox Luna earn direct invite to IEM Katowice 2017

Albus Nox Luna have made it to the Top 8 of the League of Legends 2016 World Championship, earning themselves a spot at next year's IEM World Championship in the process.

As previously announced, in order to qualify for an invite to IEM Katowice 2017, a team must secure Top 8 at Worlds while also being the top performing team from their region. As the only International Wildcard representative in the Top 8, Albus Nox Luna have earned that spot.

Additionally, as they have now been directly invited IEM Katowice, Albus Nox Luna are not eligible to compete at either IEM Oakland or IEM Gyeonggi.

Albus Nox Luna have already had a historical run at Worlds, becoming the first IWC team to make it to the bracket stage of a major international tournament.

IEM Katowice is schedule for March 2017 and takes place in Katowice, Poland.
