Gambit Esports have won Acer Predator Masters Season 3 after a 3-0 victory over Team Kinguin in the Grand Finals on Sunday and took home $25,000.

Gambit only dropped a single map throughout the event as made a clean run through the upper bracket starting with a 2-0 win over Fnatic Academy in the quarterfinals. Rogue took Gambit to three maps in the semifinals, but it was a 2-1 victory for the Kazakhs. Gambit met Kinguin in the Winners' Finals and swept them 2-0, but Kinguin defeated Rogue 2-1 in the Losers' Finals and earned a rematch against Gambit in the Grand Finals.

As Gambit were coming into the best-of-five Grand Finals from the upper bracket, they were given an automatic 1-0 advantage in the series. Gambit took a huge 12-3 half in the opening map on Cobble and easily ended it 16-7. Kinguin gave a much better fight in the first half of Dust 2 as they took a 9-6 advantage, but they were only able to take a single round in the second half and Gambit ended the map 16-10 to take the tournament in convincing fashion.

Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev was the star player for Gambit during Acer Predator as he had the single highest HLTV player rating across the event, with a 1.34 rating.

This is the first LAN victory for Gambit since they acquired Abay "HObbit" Khassenov and former Natus Vincere player Danil "Zeus" Tselenko on Oct. 12.
