Wilton "zews" Prado will be Team Liquid's coach during Northern Arena 2016 Montreal and IEM Oakland 2016, Liquid's owner Steve "LiQuiD112" Arhancet announced Friday.

Whether zews will be Liquid's coach beyond the Montreal and Oakland events, however, is still to be determined, according to LiQuiD112.

The news comes hours after Jarek "DeKay" Lewis reported that zews would be Liquid's coach.

zews was most recently a player on Immortals and acted as their in-game leader, leaving the team on Nov. 8 and saying to his former teammates in a TwitLonger, "you're young and just need to get your priorities and heads in place."

Prior to joining Immortals, zews was the coach for SK Gaming and was dubbed the "sixth member" of the back-to-back Major winning squad, after they took MLG Major Championship: Columbus and ESL One Cologne 2016. zews has now returned to coaching as part of Liquid.

Liquid will play their first game with zews Friday at Northern Arena 2016 Montreal against G2 Esports in the Group A decider match.
