Vega Squadron has re-entered CS:GO by signing the ALL-IN roster, primarily made up of former Vega Squadron players, the organization announced Thursday.
Dimitry "jR" Chervak, Nikolay "Mir" Bityukov, Sergey "Keshandr" Nikishin and Pavel "hutji" Lashkov all played for Vega Squadron in 2015, before the roster left for Arcade eSports. They then left that org to join ANOX, which they left in October. Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov joined while the players were with ANOX.
"I am glad to return to Vega Squadron and especially glad that it happened before our ELEAGUE Major qualifiers," jR said in a press release. "Vega was the beginning of our professional CS:GO careers, and soon we managed to reach solid level of gameplay for our region.
"And even though we changed players many times, I'm looking forward this new page in our history with Vega in a roster that is as close to the original one as it could be. CIS Minor preparations were tough and we got more united, became a family. Cheer for us and we'll do everything to make you happy not just once!"
As ALL-IN, the roster qualified for the ELEAGUE Major Closed qualifier by taking first place in the CIS Minor. Vega Squadron will join Team Dignitas, FaZe Clan, mousesports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Counter Logic Gaming, Team EnVyUs, G2 Esports, OpTic Gaming, TyLoo, Renegades, Team Spirit, GODSENT and HellRaisers at the closed qualifier.
