Fujimura "Yukadon" Atsushi will take Tse "Tse444" Wa Ping spot at Capcom Cup as the latter is unable to compete at the tournament.
The announcement came from the Capcom Fighters' official Twitter account and comes on the heels of yesterday's reveal that Felipe "Misterio" Patricio Torres Carvacho could not attend the event and would be replaced by Kenneth "K-Brad" Bradley.
Tse444 qualified after Hayashi "Mago" Kenryo's won the Capcom Pro Tour Asia Regional Finals. Mago was ranked 17th on the Global Leaderboards, but qualifying at the regional finals meant that another leaderboard spot opened up. That spot would have gone to Inoue "Kazunoko" Ryota, but he took the top spot on the Asia-Oceania leaderboard to qualify, putting Tse444 on the list of qualified fighters for Capcom Cup. The tweet did not offer any reasoning for his inability to play at the event.
Yukadon, who signed a deal with Japanese event production company YOUDEAL in August, was the next unqualified player on the global leaderboard, at 24th place with 346 points. K-Brad had qualified ahead of him after Misterio's withdrawal because he became the second-place player to qualify from the Latin America leaderboards.
Capcom Cup is set to get underway at Esports Arena in Santa Ana, Calif. on Dec. 2, where the Top 32 to Top 8 matches will be held. Then the action will move to PlayStation Experience 2016, happening at the Anaheim Convention Center on Dec. 3.
