Top Korean esports organization SK Telecom T1 announced changes and re-signings for their 2017 League of Legends team on Tuesday.

According to the statement, SKT did not renew the contracts of jungler Bae "bengi" Seong-woong or top laner Lee "Duke" Ho-seong. Both will be pursuing offers elsewhere. Coach Lee "PoohManDu" Jeong-hyeon also left the team.

Legendary mid laner and face of the SKT franchise Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok will be re-signing with SKT for another year, as will AD carry Bae "Bang" Jun-sik, support Lee "Wolf" Jae-wan, jungler Kang "Blank" Sun-gu and coach Kim "kkOma" Jung-gyun.

South Korean esports site OSEN reported Tuesday that Faker was offered an "unprecedented amount" to stay with the team. A translation of SKT's Korean press release by Inven says that Faker was offered "the best contract in esports history."

bengi and Faker have both played their entire careers on SKT, starting with the first roster of SK Telecom T1 #2 in February 2013. They have been with the team through multiple roster iterations and earned three World Championships together.

Bang and Wolf first signed with SKT when they formed SK Telecom T1 S in October 2013, while Blank and Duke were later additions in December 2015.
