CJ Entus have released their entire League of Legends roster on Wednesday, but noted that the contracts were terminated "under mutual agreement."

The news follows the team's relegation from the LCK. They finished in last place during the 2016 LCK Summer Season with a 3-15 record and were forced to play in the 2017 Spring Promotion. They lost 2-0 to Kongdoo Monster in the winners' semifinals, defeated SBENU Korea 2-0 in the losers' semifinal, but lost 3-0 to ESC Ever in the losers' final to be relegated.

CJ also competed in the 2016 LoL KeSPA Cup, but finished in last place as they lost their Qualifying Round match 2-0 to ESC Ever.

Here is CJ's former roster, all of whom have now parted ways with the organization:

  • Mingi "MadLife" Hong
  • Sangmyeon "Shy" Park
  • Uijin "Untara" Park
  • Junhyeong "Bubbling" Park
  • Minseung "Haru" Kang
  • Boseong "Bdd" Kwak
  • Haneul "Sky" Kim
  • Jonghun "Kramer" Ha
  • Yongjun "Ghost" Jang

"We really appreciate all players for the dedication they've shown," the team said in their Facebook post. "We hope that they will have a bright future for the new challenge ahead."
