Aleš "Freeze" Kněžínek and Jørgen "Hatrixx" Elgåen have signed with NA Challenger Series team Tempo Storm, according to a statement given to ESPN's Jacob Wolf Sunday.

"Freeze is indeed on the team, and he's looking excellent," Tempo Storm chief of business development Robert Del Papa told ESPN.

Tempo Storm purchased Dream Team's Challenger Series slot in November, but did not acquire the team's one remaining contracted player, Cody "Massacre" Sun. Hatrixx and Freeze are the first two players to be officially confirmed on the roster ahead the 2017 spring season.

Freeze served as AD carry for H2k-Gaming in the 2016 EU LCS Summer Split, but was sidelined in Week 9 by tendonitis in his wrist. He was unable to play for H2K at the 2017 Work Championship, and was replaced on their starting lineup by Konstantinos "FORG1VEN" Tzortziou. Freeze announced in late November that he would not be re-signing with the organization, but said his doctor had declared him fully recovered and ready to play with a new team in the next split.

Hatrixx has yet to play in the LCS, but has spent the past two seasons playing with HWA Gaming in the Turkish Champions League, most recently placing 3rd-4th in the 2016 Summer Playoffs. After briefly joining KIYF Logitech for Season 11 of Spain's Liga de Videojuegos Profesional, he was recruited to join FC Schalke 04's EU Challenger Series roster following the organization's scouting grounds event in October.

"Hatrixx is new talent that our analysts scouted from EU," Del Papa said in his statement to ESPN. "We believed the mid lane and bot roles in the NACS pool were not up to par with current LCS talent and would make it difficult to promote."
