E3 is in full swing this week. But rather than focusing on the brand new games, sequels and listening to EA talk about how the latest Madden is somehow different and better than last year's iteration, why not check out these gaming deals instead?

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines via GOG

Regular Price: $19.99 USD / Sale Price: $4.99 USD

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is the best game about vampires ever made, and one of the best open world RPGs, period. You can create your own character and join one of several vampire clans, gaining new powers and dialog options that allow you to interact with the non-linear world in your own way.

Want to be a smooth-talking blood sucker who charms their enemies to do their bidding? Go ahead. Want to demolish your opponents with katanas while using super speed? No one's stopping you. The sheer variety of game play in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines enables a lot of replay, and even a decade after it was first released, this game stands on its own.

Stardew Valley via GOG

Regular Price: $14.99 USD / $9.99 USD

In my opinion, Stardew Valley was the best game released in 2016. Building your own farm from scratch, exploring the world and its mystical dungeons, and forging relationships with townsfolk are all extremely enjoyable activities. There were times where I wanted to stop playing the game, but one more turn syndrome kicked in and suddenly four hours had passed. Stardew Valley is more than just a farming game, and if you haven't given it a shot, I highly recommend it.

And if you're lucky, maybe the ghost of your dead grandfather won't yell at you for poorly managing the farm.

The King of Fighters 2000 via GOG

Regular Price: $5.99 USD / Sale Price: $2.99 USD

My coworker Dan says that I should write about this game because it is very fun. Well Dan, here it is.

Backed by a solid soundtrack, great mechanics and the introduction of an assist mode, The King of Fighters 2000 is one of the best games in the King of Fighters franchise. And at this price, it's something that any fighting fan shouldn't pass up.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition via GOG

Regular Price: $19.99 USD / Sale Price: $3.99 USD

Darksiders is the result of combining a post-apocalyptic world with the gameplay of The Legend of Zelda series. The dungeons are well crafted, featuring interesting puzzles and weapons, with solid boss fights throughout the game. As depressing as the world after an apocalypse is, it's a blast to explore, with the mythology providing an interesting backdrop. The Warmastered Edition features enhanced resolutions and an optimized framerate, making it the best way to play the game on PC.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition via Steam

Regular Price: $19.99 USD / Sale Price: $9.99 USD

Ori and the Blind Forest is a great platformer that excels through its hand-painted style art and solid gameplay mechanics. The Definitive Edition adds new areas and secrets, among other additions, and is easily the best way to play this wonderful platform game.
