OpTic Gaming have signed Adam "friberg" Friberg, Aleksi "allu" Jalli Emil "Magisk" Reif to their CS:GO roster.

Also listed on the roster are Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas and Keith "NAF" Markovic, who has tweeted that while he is still signed to OpTic, he is no longer on the starting roster and will be standing in for the team during the first week of EPL matches. This would leave OpTic without a fifth player for the second week of the league.

The roster was initially listed on the ESL Pro League Season 6 website ahead of the announcement, and also included coach Chet "ImAPet" Singh.

OpTic lost several players over the past few months, with Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz leaving for Team Liquid in July, and Will "RUSH" Wierzba and Tarik "tarik" Celik leaving for Cloud9 earlier this month. The team recently placed 5th-8th at ESL One Cologne 2017, 7th-8th at the ECS Season 3 finals and 7th-8th at the EPL Season 5 finals.

friberg was released from Ninjas in Pyjamas in July after five years with the organization. Earlier this month, FaZe clan benched allu in favor of former Natus Vincere player Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács, and North benched Magisk.
