Immortals' League of Legends coach Sangsoo "Ssong" Kim" is no longer with the team and is looking for a new team, Ssong announced on Twitter Wednesday.

Ssong's departure from Immortals comes after reports that they had their application for a spot in the franchised 2018 NA LCS denied. While Ssong was coaching the team, Immortals placed second in the 2017 NA LCS Summer Playoffs and qualified for Worlds, where they finished 13th-16th with a 2-4 record in the group stage.

"It was a valuable and unforgettable experience on IMT. I thank you all for your support and cheer for IMT," Ssong wrote in a tweet.

Immortals' analyst Nick "Lufty" Luft also recently left the organization. While Immortals have yet to make a statement on their NA LCS application status, several members of the organization have published tweets that imply Immortals will not be participating in the league next year.
