So, some of you folks may have heard that the US Army has caught a lot of flak from the esports and streaming world over the last couple of days. From cringe tweets, to allegedly fake giveaways to chat bans that might actually be unconstitutional, it’s been a pretty wild couple of days for the US Armed Forces on Twitch.
But with the announcement that the US Army is taking a break from streaming while they figure things out, and with Twitch chat unfurling the Mission Accomplished banners, I think now is a good time to take a step back and walk you all through what happened here.
