Erlend "Nukeduck" Holm has extended his contract with Team ROCCAT for the 2016 EU LCS season, the team announced Friday.

Nukeduck is the third member of ROCCAT to re-sign with the organization, with both jungler Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski and support Oskar "VandeR" Bogdan also confirming their return on Oct 14.

"We are very happy at sealing new agreements with Vander, Jankos and Nukeduck for next year," the team said in a post on Facebook. "Making this announcement even before the World Finals shows the commitment from both sides – the players and ourselves. ROCCAT can provide a very professional and positive environment for the team and everybody involved appreciates that. We are looking forward to the upcoming season and we’ll do everything to secure our spot in the Worlds next year."

ROCCAT's EU LCS Summer Split was an improvement from their spring season, finishing fifth overall with an 8-10 record. However, their play in both the playoffs and the Regional Qualifiers failed to meet expectation, las they lost 3-2 to the Unicorns of Love in the former and 3-2 to Orgien in the latter, officially putting them out of contention for the 2015 World Championship.

Despite ROCCAT's result, Nukeduck's performance was solid, especially on long-range champions such as Viktor, Azir or Varus. He finished the EU LCS summer season and playoffs with a 4.84 KDA.
