On the eve of compLexity Gaming's first day of competition at the Game Show Global eSports Cup, the squad has announced that their substitute carry player Luis "Zyzzy" Perez has decided to leave the organization.

Zyzzy has been with coL since May 2015 when the team's roster was announced just in time for The International 5 Americas qualifiers. When coL successfully qualified for TI5, Zyzzy became the first Latin American player to compete at The International.

Zyzzy was moved to the substitute position very recently, but he was a major part of coL's Star Ladder qualification earlier this week when he stood in for Chessie, "who had been feeling ill for the preceding 24 hours."

coL is currently in the Studio LAN stage of the Game Show Global eSports Cup, in Vilnius, Lithuania, but found themselves without a carry player due to Chessie coming down with "flu-like symptoms," which coL clarifies to be "a temporary ailment, with no impact on his future ability to compete with the team."

In the meantime, coL have recruited Jure "PingVincek" Plešej, a Slovenian carry player who played with coL during the Frankfurt Major qualifiers and who was able to travel to the event in time for tomorrow's matches.
