mousesports are doubling down for the upcoming MLG Major Championship: Columbus, picking up Niclas "enkay J" Krumhorn and Navid "Kapio" Javadi as support staff, the organization announced Friday.
According to mouz's blogpost, enkay J has already been working with the team for the past few weeks and will act as an analyst. Kapio on the other hand will take on a coaching role and will act as the in-game leader during high-stress rounds.
This will likely assist Nikola "NiKo" Kovač when he needs it most as he is both the in-game leader for mouz and is often the top fragging player, a rare case for most teams.
During IEM Katowice, mouz were eliminated from the group stage after losing to Natus Vincere, Fnatic and Luminosity Gaming. Despite that, NiKo was one of the most statistically impressive players from the whole tournament, with the single highest player rating of 1.45, the most kills per round and the most headshots per round, among other stats.
mouz are in Group A for MLG Columbus along with Ninjas in Pyjamas, FlipSid3 Tactics and the favored team of the group, Luminosity Gaming. The tournament will take place on March 29 to April 3 in Columbus, Ohio and will be the first CS:GO Major to feature a $1 million prize pool.
