Maikelele announced he was leaving FaZe Clan last week, but the organization's Facebook post states that he is still part of the orgnaization. Maikelele has since tweeted that the decision to step down from the starting lineup was somewhat mutual, and that he is still with FaZe. Maikelele had been with FaZe since the team was known as Team Kinguin in May.

kioShiMa was previously signed to Team EnVyUs as a backup player, and last played for the team at IEM Katowice, where the team finished 11th-12th. While he was regularly starting for EnVyUs, kioShiMa helped the team placed first at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca and the Global eSports Cup Finals and second at ESL One Cologne 2015.

FaZe recently placed 9-12 at the MLG Major Championship Columbus after finishing in third in Group B.
