Team Secret has signed Lee "Poongko" Chung Gon as their first Street Fighter player, the organization announced Monday.

Poongko is best known for his innovative Seth play in SFIV, and for his ability to play from behind, earning him the nickname "angry" poongko. Poongko is playing Cammy in SFV, and while he hasn't yet found the same success as he did in SFIV, he is maintaining the same aggressive playstyle.

Poongko is on Team Southeast in Street Fighter V Crash in Group D alongside Bruce "Gamerbee" Hsang and Johnny "HumanBomb" Lai Cheng. He tied for fourty-ninth place at NorCal Regionals 2016, and finished in the Top 25 at Final Round 19. Poongko also finished fourth at the 2015 Capcom Cup Finals, qualifying after winning the 2015 Capcom Pro Tour Asia Finals.

Poongko was among the players invited to Red Bull Kumite 2016, which will take place in Paris, France, from April 23-24.

Recently, Team Secret signed Super Smash Bros. Melee player Otto "Silent Wolf" Bisno to the organization, starting Secret's expansion into fighting games.
