Carlo "Kuku" Palad has joined his former team's biggest rivals, as he signed on with TNC Pro Team after losing his spot on Mineski in the latest roster shuffle.

According to a statement from TNC, Kuku will be standing in for Gio "WinterGSmallSon" Deocampo, who is suffering from undisclosed "health issues." It is unclear whether TNC will still be eligible for an invite to The Manila Major's closed qualifiers if WinterGSmallSon returns in time.

Kuku has been without a team since the Manila Major roster lock, when Mineski locked in a roster that left him notably absent. He will not be eligible to play with TNC in any Valve event, but will make a strong replacement for WinterGSmallSon as he recovers.

TNC have already played a match with Kuku. They faced Fnatic in back to back matches in the ESL Frankfurt SEA Qualifiers and the Grand Finals of the BTS SEA Cup #4. They lost 2-1 in ESL and 3-0 in BTS.
