Natus Vincere's famed AWPer Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács seems to be recovering well, according to a Tweet from the player on Wednesday night.

GuardiaN’s arm injury first became apparent after the conclusion of the MLG Major Championship: Columbus, when he tweeted that he would not be playing at DreamHack Master Malmö. Na`Vi later announced that GuardiaN would be playing, but went back on the decision and decided to have their coach Sergey "starix" Ischuk as a stand-in.

Despite expectations, Na`Vi blew away their group during the DreamHack Master Malmö with their last-minute stand-in, taking down GODSENT and Counter Logic Gaming. After the conclusion of the group stage, Na`Vi announced that their medical team cleared GuardiaN and that he would play in the tournament’s playoff.

GuardiaN gave an explosive performance during Na`Vi’s opening match in the playoffs against TyLoo.

Ultimately, Na`Vi fell in the Grand Finals as Ninjas in Pyjamas took the tournament after a 2-0 victory. GuardiaN had a 0.9 HLTV player rating in the series.

After the conclusion of DreamHack Master Malmö Na`Vi announced on April 20 that they would not attend the CEVO Gfinity Pro League Season 9 Finals, then on April 26 they announced that they dropped out of the Esports Championship Series — a league that features a $3 million prize pool — and would not attend DreamHack Austin, citing a “busy schedule and tiredness.”

Natus Vincere are set to attend the SL i-League Invitational on May 19-22 at the Olimpiyskiy Football Stadium in Kiev.
