After fighting their way through The Manila Major open qualifiers, Dragneel have forfeited the Lower Bracket Final match against Digital Chaos, putting DC in the Americas qualifier Grand Final.

Very early on in Game 1, Mason disconnected from the game. After Dragneel's allotted pause time had run out, the team un-paused and called GG.

It sounded like Dragneel were forfeiting the entire match, but casters in the lobby gave word that the team had reconnected and would attempt to play Game 2.

Mason reportedly connected to the lobby, but disconnected again during the load-in and Dragneel decided to forfeit, making it a 2-0 win for Digital Chaos.

Digital Choas move on to face Shazam in the Americas qualifier's best-of-five Grand Final.
