The Imperial, an esports organization that closed in 2011, has returned with a brand new Danish CS:GO lineup featuring former Team Dignitas player, Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen. The team announced their new lineup on Twitter Tuesday.

"We are very proud to announce that we will be joining up with Imperial," FeTiSh said on Imperial's website. "A few of us worked with them back in the CSS days and had a great time with them. They recently started up their activities again just like us. We know that there’s a ton of work in front of us if we want to be able to compete and we are looking forward to improve and grow as a team."

Dignitas parted ways with FeTiSh in December 2014, explaining the team was "struggling to improve and fix certain issues for some time and the players all agreed that a big change was necessary to overcome this."

While FeTiSh played with Dignitas, the team placed 5th-8th at DreamHack Winter 2014, 3rd-4th at ESL One Cologne 2014 and 3rd-4th at Gfinity G3.

The new squad will reunite FeTiSh with former Copenhagen Wolves teammate Bo "Wantz" Vestergaard. The team's new roster includes:

  • Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen
  • Bo "Wantz" Vestergaard
  • Sørenn "socN" Falk
  • Kasper "kaspeR" Tolbøl
  • Kevin "KS" Svenningsen

Oli "potts" Adams and Peter "Pete" Thompson will assist the team in a management capacity.

Before shutting down five years ago, The Imperial was a European console-based organization with active rosters in Call of Duty, Gears of War and FIFA. They expanded to PC gaming with the addition of the Mousetek Team Fortress 2 squad in 2008.
