Following HellRaisers' announcement this morning that Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný has been benched, ESPN's Jacob Wolf has reported that oskar signed a forward contract with mousesports and planned on joining the team when his contract with HR expires in the fall.

According to the report, oskar signed a contract with mouz stating that he would join the team in September, which is when his HR contract is reportedly set to expire. HellRaisers stated in a press release earlier on Monday that its reason for removing oskar from its starting lineup was that he had signed a forward contract with another team, but did not specify which team.

It is not yet clear who oskar will replace on mousesports’ lineup, and the team has not made an official announcement about the deal. It's unlikely the team will make a choice about who to replace ahead of oskar's join date in September.

mouz’s roster has gone unchanged since Timo "Spiidi" Richter rejoined the team on Dec. 16, replacing Fatih “gob b” Dayik. Since then, they've finished 9-12th at MLG Major Championship: Columbus and achieved a Top 8 finish at DreamHack Masters Malmö. Earlier this month, they took 1st-2nd at the Major qualifier for ESL One Cologne 2016, after a convincing run where they defeated FLuffy Gangsters, Cloud9 and G2 Esports

The team's full roster currently looks as follows:

  • Chris "chrisJ" De Jong
  • Denis "denis" Howell
  • Johannes "nex" Maget
  • Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
  • Timo "Spiidi" Richter
  • Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović (coach)

oskar originally joined HR in October, alongside Martin "STYKO" Styk. The two replaced Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev and Rustem "mou" Telepov. Since joining, HellRaisers won the European Minor Championship 2016 - Columbus, but failed to qualify for MLG Major Championship: Columbus, as well as the up coming Major at ESL One Cologne 2016.

According to HellRaisers' press release, oskar will act as a streamer for the team until his contract with them expires. “HellRaisers, naturally, didn't want to let the player go to another team ahead of terms specified in the contract,” the release said.
