Luminosity Gaming qualify for Overwatch Open Playoffs

Luminosity Gaming are the fourth European team to qualify for the Overwatch Open Playoffs after a 3-2 victory over Immortals' tryout squad.

Luminosity join Misfits, Rogue and REUNITED on the list of qualified European teams, leaving Creation, Ninjas in Pyjamas, ANOX, Immortals, Melty eSports Club, Prets, Bringos, OWKings, Aera, bfly, Bikini, LeMX, Other Team and The Gatekeepers to qualify for the playoffs through ranking points.

The 16 teams will be separated into four groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the LAN finals at the ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Those eight teams will also be joined by eight North American teams, though the 16 teams that will be advancing to the NA regional finals are still being finalized.

The Overwatch Open finals will feature a $300,000 prize pool, though dates for the LAN event have yet to be set.
