Game 1 of the NA LCS' summer semifinal match between Team SoloMid and Counter Logic Gaming has been remade due to a visual bug involving Aurelion Sol.

According to Joshua "Jatt" Leesman on Riot's broadcast, a visual bug occurred where Aurelion Sol's orbs were visible in a ward despite not being near that location. TSM subsequently paused the game due to the bug. CLG's mid laner Choi "Huhi" Jae-hyun was playing as Aurelion Sol.

"Because TSM saw the orbs, they pulled back," Jatt explained. "Bjergsen most likely had a kill onto Aphromoo, but because of the visual bug, they inferred the wrong knowledge. And that bug had happened a couple of times throughout the game, so they ultimately decided to remake and disable Aurelion Sol."

James "Dash" Patterson also explained on stream that TSM were offered a remake by Riot due to the bug, which they accepted.

"So we will be remaking champion select for a new game with Aurelion Sol disabled," Dash said.

At the time the game was paused, CLG were up 2-0 in kills, with TSM holding a small 400 gold net worth lead. Huhi has played one game on Aurelion Sol in the Summer Playoffs, holding a 4.0 KDA on the champion.

In the remade game, CLG drafted Taliyah for Huhi in place of Aurelion Sol.
