The Shanghai Dragons are bringing on four new players to shake up their roster, including Kim "Geguri" Se-yeon, the first woman to play in the Overwatch League.
Geguri, formerly of the ROX Orcas is an off-tank known for her Zarya and D.Va play, and is known for achieving an 80 percent win rate with Zarya on the Korean server. Geguri is considered one of the best players on the Korean server in general.
The team has also signed He "Sky" Junjian, formerly known as zhunfanjun, who played for team China in the Overwatch World Cup, where he placed 5th-8th. He last played for Miraculous Youngster, where he placed 3rd-4th in the APAC Premier 2017.
The final two new additions to the Dragons' roster are Korean players Lee "Fearless" Eui-seok, formerly of SURGE, and Chon "Ado" Gi-Hyeon, formerly of MVP Space.
"The Shanghai Dragons look forward to tackling the core problems of the team with the help of these new signings, as well as showcasing more competitiveness in skills and tactics with better performances in the matches ahead," the team wrote in a press release.
The Shanghai Dragons finished Stage 1 of the OWL in last place across both divisions, with a 0-10 game record and a 6-0-36 map record. The team has been noted to have strong individual players, but poor team play.
