ESL One Birmingham 2018 to be first ever UK Dota 2 Major

Dota 2's next Major, ESL One Birmingham, will take place from May 23-27 and be the first time a Major has ever been held in the United Kingdom.

The event will feature 12 teams from all over the world and a $1,000,000 prize pool.

The 12 teams will be made up of six teams from regional qualifiers and six more teams with direct invites.

moxie leaves B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape: report

Benjamin "moxie" Kou is allegedly leaving B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape's Counter Strike: Global Offensive team, according to a report by HLTV's flam3zcsgo.

moxie tweeted that he was leaving the team at 6:32 a.m. ET on Tuesday morning, but then subsequently deleted the tweet. moxie then quote tweeted the HLTV article above.

B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape were just eliminated from the WESG World Finals.

San Francisco Shockpick up moth and Architect

The San Francisco Shock have added Minho “Architect” Park and Grant “moth” Espe to their roster.

Architect is a Korean DPS player who has a highly touted Genji and moth is a support who previously played for the Boston Uprising's Contenders League team.

“Architect used to be with X-6 Gaming and is a true pro who we think makes us a better and more versatile team.” said Andy Miller, owner and CEO of the San Francisco Shock, in a press release. “Moth is a tremendous Tank and someone we are thrilled to add to our roster. Plus he’s from Boston, so you know he’s a grinder.”
