Otto "Silent Wolf" Bisno will not be entered into fan voting for Smash Summit 3 because of scheduling conflicts with his school studies, the player tweeted Monday evening.

The Fox main said his studies and other scheduled events would prevent him from attending the third installment of Beyond the Summit's Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament. Though Silent Wolf was not one of the 10 invited players announced two weeks ago, he had a shot to attend the event as one of six players who will be selected by the community.

Though nominations for the fan vote have not yet begun, as the 11th-ranked player on SSBM's Top 50 rankings for 2015, Silent Wolf was eligible and likely to be among the 20 nominated players. He finished 17th at Shine 2016, and was one of the 10 players directly invited to Smash Summit 2, where he finished 13th.

According to's event page, 42 other players who have not yet been invited to Smash Summit 3 are eligible for nominations. The nomination period opens on Oct. 10.
