Misfits have signed Super Smash Bros. for Wii U player Larry "Larry Lurr" Holland.

Larry Lurr left Elevate earlier this month after his contract with the organization expired. While with Elevate, he placed seventh at CEO 2016, seventh at EVO 2016, second at 2GGT: Abadango Saga and second at 2GGT: ZeRo Saga. Larry was ranked seventh on the 2016 Panda Global Smash 4 Rankings, and is considered to be the best Smash 4 Fox in the world.

Larry is Misfits’ second Smash player, following their signing of Super Smash Bros. Melee player Ryan “The Moon“ Coker-Welch in November. The organization was founded in 2016, but recently entered into a partnership with the Miami Heat, which will see the Heat handle marketing, branding, promotion and sponsorship activation for Misfits.

On top of Smash 4 and Melee, Misfits currently fields rosters in League of Legends, Overwatch, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm.
