Justin Wong wins Manila Cup 2016, qualifies for CPT Asia Regional

Justin Wong has won Manila Cup 2016 after defeating Bruce "GamerBee" Hsiang 3-1 in the finals, and has become the first American player to win an Asian Capcom Pro Tour event in the process.

Justin's win guarantees him a spot at the CPT Asia Regional, though Justin has already qualified for the CPT North America Regional.

The New York native wasn't the only American in Manila, as his Evil Geniuses teammate Ricki Ortiz finished in Top 4 after losing 3-1 to GamerBee in the second-to-last round of the Loser's Bracket.

His win at Manila Cup 2016 is his seventh CPT win this season. He has won Jam Festival 2016, Northwest Majors 8, DreamHack Austin, Toryuken 5, Combo Breaker 2016 and Furia Tica.
